Service Overview

Across Borders's RapidStart/WAS program offering provides a packaged set of consulting services to quickly implement a fundamental WAS environment. It is delivered by our WAS consultants – all of whom have an extensive background in WAS- to solve your unique problems. RapidStart/WAS Basics

During this 2 weeks service engagement, Across Borders WAS Certified professionals will:

• Install and customize WAS on two hardware platforms of your choice with sufficient detail to enable you to test WAS in your environment.
• Discuss administration and operational aspects of your environment with operations personnel including WAS tips & techniques.
• Provide you with a detailed report that documents your WAS custom installation environment and parameters, security and future deployment consideration, "best practice" naming convention guidelines for use with WAS and value added WAS products available in the marketplace.
• Provide you with a skills assessment overview in a matrix format so you can tactically plan and budget for WAS training/resource requirements.

RapidStart/WAS Advanced

During this 3-4 weeks service engagement, Across Borders WAS Certified professionals will perform everything provided in the RapidStart/WAS Basics as well as:

• Install WAS on two additional platforms.
• Review your Enterprise WAS architecture and topology and document enterprise WAS implementation and integration considerations.
• Provides a one-day WAS overview training class that addresses the fundamentals of WAS including:
  • WAS Concepts & Benefits
  • WAS Planning
  • WAS Positioning
  • WAS Sample Stores

Custom Services

Service beyond what is available with RapidStart/WAS Basics or Advanced can be delivered by Integrate/WAS. Integrate/WAS services are customized to your unique needs and delivers:

• Integration schedules and plans.
• Certified WAS training.
